Only 2 components to be mounted:
The fastener, pre-assembled and adapted to the required grip thickness, is inserted into a hole in the panel and secured against lost by means of a retaining washer.
The receptacle is inserted into a throughhole in the frame and secured with a nut.
Function
To close, light pressure is applied to the push button of the fastener. The cross-pin of the springloaded fastener slides in guide slots into movable notches in the receptacle and makes a firm joint.
Opening is effected by again pressing the stud, whereby the cross pin of the stud is disengaged from the receptacle by the pressure of the expanding spring.
